Ushering the New Year!

First New Year away from home.... An emotion that I can't describe, or don't know how to describe. Possibly happy, excited and curious as to what is to come. Normal New Year's Eves are spent at home...with my parents as it is also their wedding anniversary. So this year...it's a little different.

Anyway, this New Year's Eve, it can be said to be well spent and the most memorable one. Spending it with the most important people in your lives always make occasions such as this unforgettable.

Dinner was spent at a Mediterranean restaurant, where Dennis, Kathleen, Reetika, Martha & I had a wonderful time at.

And after dinner....we headed to Cologne to check out the fireworks and a party later. The fireworks were a spectacle to watch. Not the usual ones that we see during National Day, nothing huge and extravagant, but small ones that people light up on the streets, throwing around....creating small fireworks on their own.

After counting down....off to party the night away...
